Working with Card Repositories

Moving the Card Repository

This action requires you to close all cards and file storages.

1. Choose File > Move Card Repository...
2. Select a drive, and click the Change… button to choose a folder.
3. Select the Retain backup copy at original location check box if you don't want to delete the original card repository.
4. Click the Continue button.

This feature is useful if you need to transfer your information to an external drive. But it is easier to lose or damage an external drive, so it is a good idea to retain a backup copy.

The location of the active repository can be found in the program preferences (Cmd-,).
