Art Text Version 2
Art Text 2 is now available! Let's take a closer look at the program and see why it's worth to upgrade.
 When
you launch Art Text 2, you will definitely spot interface changes. The program now has Template Gallery where you
can choose one of over 200 ready made button, heading and icon templates, which can be edited afterwards. As the
program now supports multiple layers, the Layers bar has been added below the preview area. It displays icons of all layers in
your document, allowing you to add and delete layers, change their stacking order, and change the layer content.
We also added a floating Layers panel to manage layers and control their properties.
Multi layer support in itself is a very important improvement, as it makes it possible to create complex
graphics. The Layers feature turns Art Text into a very convenient tool for creating web site buttons and decorative artwork
for various documents.
 Now
let's turn to the new and improved effects that can be applied to the future artwork. Nearly every editing tool has gone
though some changes. Object fill capabilities have been improved, which include extended gradient and advanced texture fill
options. The stroke effect has been revised, and as a result, the object outline feature has been improved. The shadow
and glow settings have become more intuitive.
The Shading Pro tool has obtained 145 additional surface materials and new capabilities.
All of the 600 supplied icons and shapes are now in vector format, which makes it possible to apply
transformation shapes to them and properly outline icons using the Stroke effect.
We have added a collection of 190+ supplied textures that can be used to fill text or shapes.
