The main property of a label document is the paper layout. It defines the label size and how labels are arranged on the page (when several can be printed on one page).
The Document tab of the Inspector displays basic layout information.
To change the layout of the current document, use Document Layout dialog (File > Change Layout).
To create a custom layout, use the Custom Layout dialog.
There are two different types of label layouts. Labels can be arranged on sheets of paper (usually Letter and A4) or on rolls. This difference is important for printing.
There is a special label type: continuous roll labels. Unlike others, they don't have predefined length. To use such a label, the user should choose the corresponding paper layout (it determines the label width). Then set up the label length in the Document tab of the Inspector. Note that this is the only case when you can change the document size in the Inspector.
