I have metal clad windows with wood finish on the inside and white aluminum metal cladding on the outside. The problem I am having is the the windows available in the menu seem to have one common object for both interior and exterior frame, so whatever material I apply inside is automatically applied outside. Is there any way I can alter the behavior of the existing windows to accept different interior and exterior materials or do I have to go look for different window objects?
I thought of applying a "surface" object from the shapes menu to either the interior or exterior but that seems like a lot of work and also the minimum surface thickness seems to be 3/8" which may cause other issues.
Thanks

I would also recommend that you look at 2 previous posts, «Make your own custom windows» febr 21 and «changing the color of the windows?» Febr.21.
