How to quickly find the font being used?

Postby prthnon » February 28th, 2017, 3:07 pm

Loving my BeLight tools, but finding a minor issue with trying to determine what font I am using.

I opened an older project and forgot what font was being used, but can not seem to find any settings panel that has this information. So far, I click on the text window or highlight the text and then have to search up and down through 450 fonts in my font window. Sometimes it shows up as a highlighted font and other times it doesn't at all.

I know I am missing something, any assistance is much appreciated.

You can try to find out the font name in this way:
1. Double-click on text to enter the edit mode.
2. Select one or several letters. Make sure that letters with the same formatting are selected (this is why selecting one letter is better).
3. Open the Fonts pane (Cmd-T). It should highlight the name of the font.

You can also use the preview box to ensure that the highlighted font looks as the one in your document.
