I've followed the suggestions here:

But I am unable to print onto a DVD disc using the Epson R2880 using DiscCover 3.03.
In the print dialog, the CD/DVD media types are greyed out not matter what I do.
Thanks, James

Hi James,
Please make sure that:
1. The print dialog of Disc Cover displays these settings:
- Output: Direct to CD/DVD
- Tray Type: Epson Tray Type 2 (CD Tray)
- Printer: Epson R2880
2. In the system print dialog the Presets option is set to Standard.
Then see if the CD/DVD media option is available.
What version of Mac OS X do you have?
Can you print on discs using other software (Epson's Easy Print, for instance)?
If other applications cannot print too, resetting the printing system can help:

Try this:
1. Proceed to the system print dialog and in the Paper Handling section activate "Scale to fit". Then set the Destination Paper Size to "A4 (Manual feed)". If this doesn't help, deactivate "Scale to fit".
2. In the Print dialog of Disc Cover, open the tray Type pop-up menu and choose Page Setup. In Format For, select your Epson. In Paper Size, select "A4 (Manual feed)".

It is now working.
I had overlooked "page setup" under the pull down for Tray Type in the DiscCover print dialog.
There I was able to choose the CD/DVD version of A4 which then allowed me to access the CD/DVD option in the Epson print dialog
The DiscCover change layout dialog only gives A4 as an option with no sub-options. And the page setup dialog is not listed under the file menu like is in other apps. Have you considered trying to consolidate these various dialogs in a more intuitive way? It is very maze-like at the moment.
Anyway, thanks much for you help. I really like Disc Cover for what it does.
