Live Home 3D Beginner

Hi i just purchased live home 3D and i've play about with walls floors, but i dont know and i tried so many times to create the slab where to build the walls on but i didn't made it, by create a floor and add a wall, the wall sink in to the floor. Thanks for who can help.
