cross-platform activation keys

Postby jrichard » April 16th, 2018, 4:11 pm

Planning on buying LiveHome 3D quite soon.
I was wondering if the product key I'll be issued will work cross-platform.
Have an all-mac studio in which the software will be installed on one.
But also a Win10 laptop I'll be using upstairs for laying out the rest of the house.

Anybody know something about this particular situation?
Waiting for a reply from Sales, but figured Ito hit up some users while waiting.

The license for Mac and Windows platform is not the same, as the scope of functionality of these apps differs. Traditionally, the price of the PC version is cheaper as it has a bit less functionality. Live Home 3D Pro for Mac has direct editing of models in SketchUp. There is also more advanced material editor in Mac version and it has more rendering settings.

The license permits either multiple users to install and use the software on a single computer, or a single user to install and use the software on multiple computers. The license doesn’t allow multiple users to use the Software on multiple computers.

Thanks for the comeback.
Pretty much what I got from sales as well.
I'll go ahead and get 'em both.

This program should help a lot to minimize miscommunication.
