How to design home entertainment center with LH3d

Postby jaw94087 » March 15th, 2018, 3:02 pm

I'm trying to figure out how to design a home entertainment center using LH3d that will have various shelves and angled sides with rounded corners/edges. The actual entertainment center will be constructed from framed drywall. Using the "building block" rect and poly tools I can get close to the geometry, but my question is how to create rounded corners and sloped surfaces from the "building blocks" that I create. Is this possible?

You can't edit corner radius directly in Live Home 3D. Instead, you can either edit existing shapes using Trimble SketchUp or import your custom object:

The built-in object library may not contain all of the objects necessary for carrying out your project.
Thanks to the integration with Trimble Warehouse, it is possible to download objects from Warehouse directly into your project.
You can also download models from the Internet or any other sources available, and add them to your project. Live Home 3D can import 3D objects in these formats:
* Trimble SketchUP(.skp)
* 3D Studio (.3ds)
* Collada (.dae)
* Google Earth KMZ
* Ogre XML
* Autodesk FBX (.fbx)

Return to “Live Home 3D”
