Create PDF files in CMYK

Postby berit » June 23rd, 2015, 6:47 am

Hi,

I downloaded the Printworks trial version and I am totally happy with it. Though I had been an InDesign user before I find Printworks more intuitive to use.

The only thing I can't figure out is how to set the color profile for the PDF export. Does Printworks save it as CMYK automatically?

Hi,

It would be nice if somebody could help me with that question. I would love to purchase the full version but not without knowing that.

Thanks

If you would use CMYK colors and images across the document and export into PDF with "Original" quality, resulting PDF will contain all colors unchanged thus in CMYK. The color profile could be also set via standard OS X Colors window, clicking a cog wheel by "CMYK Sliders" selector.

Thanks Ajax,

That helped and made my decision easy. I have just bought the full version. Now I hope my printing company is as happy with the pdf file as I am with the software. :)
