Stairs direction in 3D

Postby Carranor » April 7th, 2015, 4:00 pm

Hi,
I've read the posts on this forum about stairs and none really answered my question, or at least it seems like it's a bug that has not yet been resolved.

I want the stairs to match the layout in 2D and 3D but it would not work. I've flipped the stairs direction in type &representation but the 3D version does not change.

Is there a way to make the flip the stairs in the 3D layout to match the 2D layout or I just have to wait for a patch to solve it?

I am using the Windows 8.1 version.

Could you please send the document with such "bad" stairs to support@belihtsoft.com for inspection?

Hi again,
shortly after I sent for help I figured it out how to.
Emberrasing.

One has to flip the 2D and then there was a tabb that I totally missed. I had to click that tabb for 3D and then mirror it as well there.

May I ask why you have chosen to treat the modification of the objects for 2D and 3D separate? It would be more intuitive to flip one object in 2D and then automatically get the 3D settings as well.

Edit, never mind me. Settings in 3D may differ in many ways ofcourse due to hights etc - I guess I answered my own question. You may close this thread now.

3D and 2D are separate because of the possibility to assign 2D picture from an external file. This might be handy sometimes.

You may need to use the Type and Representation dialog to rotate or flip objects in the 3D view:
