Hi Guys,
I have a massive imported materials file....which I would ideally like to sort. E.g. woods into flooring, fabrics into the fabric category. Will any future upgrade give the possibility of sorting imports into their correct category? I also find the fish eye 'circle' view doesn't give a great representation of imports with patterns...is there a way to get a better view without applying the import to an object?

Hi
I'll pass your idea about sorting materials to the developers.
In one of future updates, we are going to let users preview materials not only on a sphere but also on a flat surface.

has this capability been added? How can I manage my materials file and even import materials into it?

Hi,
This is possible in Live Home 3D. Materials of imported objects appear in the Imported category. Then you can copy or cut them and paste to an appropriate category.
