Hi guys,

Purchased your software for 2 days now and it has huge potential. I currently want to design a logo for a furniture company but the category of icon that comes close to what i want is the "Architecture" category. Thou, the icons there for houses is very limited. Can we have more icons or can you point me to a direction where i can get icons for mainly furnitures(i.e. chairs, tables, beds....etc) so I can import into AT?

I saw the logo designed by another user: "Lisa" on her website at: "http://www.defineddesign.com/" There you can see the house she used for her logo. More icons like those would make my life easier using this awesome software.

Many thanks.

Hi,

At the moment, we don't plan to add new icons. Try to find what you need in online image collections. Some of them are listed in this article:

I would also suggest in addition to the links on BeLights site to clip art, also look at openclipart.org all their clipart comes with no strings attached. They are generally available as svg and png. You can use other programs to convert to pdf so that you can import into Art Text

I have recently come across some open source online programs that are good complement to ArtText.

The site is http://www.aviary.com/

I particularly like to use the raven program to convert a bitmap to a vector drawing by using the trace bitmap. Generally use a black and white bitmap. Once converted to vector I export it as pdf and then drop into artext for styling and adding text if necessary

Return to “Art Text”
