how to add a contact list to my envelopes?

Postby lollapalooza » January 5th, 2015, 5:16 am

Hi there!

I have a hundred envelopes to print with a hundred of different contacts-addresses.
I have created a sample-envelope recto/verso.
How can I add "automatically", my contact list on the envelopes?
Or do I need to retype each contact/address, one by one, on a new envelope (file) each time?

On the other hand, can I add to a contact list each contact/address that I am typing on the envelopes?
It will be easier to me to do things in this way:adding informations on my envelope and once done, adding these contact informations to an official contact list.
Because once printing is done, all the informations are erased by new ones and I can't keep it safe somewhere if I don't add it to a contact list immediately.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Lolla,

You need to use a feature called merge printing. It is described in Help, and also you can watch a video tutorial on this page:

Briefly, your steps can be as follows:
1. Import contacts to display them in the left panel.
2. Add two address panels to your envelope design: one for the delivery address and one for the sender's one.
3. Select a number of addresses in the left panel (by Shift- or Cmd-clicking).
4. Open the Print dialog, make sure that the preview displays what you are going to print. Then start printing.
