Postnet positioning?

Postby scottcitron » December 10th, 2014, 4:00 pm

When I create my mailing label, the Postnet barcode gets pushed off the bottom of the label. Seems like the only way to solve this problem is to either make my font really small (like 6 pts) or reduce the label's line spacing too much.

Is there a way to alter the distance between the label's bottom line and the Postnet code? Or can the size of the Postnet code be controlled in any way?

Thanks.

Hi,

It seems that there is not enough space to print a barcode. Reducing the font size can be a solution. The size of barcores and space between it and address corresponds some rules. Making the barcode or space smaller can make it unreadable for machines post services use.

If you still wish to tweak your label, you can detach the barcode this way. Right-click on the address panel and select Split Address Panel in the context menu. Then select all address fields but the barcode, and choose Combine Address Panel from the context menu.
