I was very pleased to install and setup the Labels & Addresses software. However, as soon as I go to print envelopes despite having set the right size in your software it refuses to print to my printer as it tells me it is expect 8.5 x 11 paper size.

I have tried the changing every setting that I can find including trying the envelope tray, etc. with no difference. Please help - very disappointed not to be able to print.

Hi

You need to set up some printing options in the Print dialog of Labels & Addresses. If your printer has a individual tray for envelopes, select the "Load from envelope tray" check box. If the tray for plain paper is used, you need to choose one of Paper Feed buttons that matches your printer.

Thank you for the follow-up Nick. I have tried it with the "Load from envelope tray" both checked and unchecked. It seems to make no difference. I still get the same message "Paper detected does not match paper size or type selected. Make sure the or type is correct to continue the job."

I can get it to print successfully only using your #10 envelope template to a #10 envelope but every other template or size causes the above error. I have tried printing at least 200 times with every conceivable option tested. I can print fine from other programs to envelopes, etc. ironically the problem seems to be with your Labels & Addresses software.

Please let me know what else I can do. It is frustrating to have purchased your product only to find that I can not use it to print envelopes on my fairly high-end printer.

I've checked the user manual. According to it, the default printer configuration includes one paper tray. This means that "Load from envelope tray" should be off.

When you tighten tray guides paper and envelops appear centered. So, the Paper Feed choice is the button in the middle.

In the manual, only these envelope types are listed:
U.S. #10 Envelope (105 x 241 mm; 4.12 x 9.5 inches)
Monarch Envelope (98 x 191 mm; 3.88 x 7.5 inches)
Card Envelope (111 x 152 mm; 4.4 x 6 inches)
A2 Envelope (111 x 146 mm; 4.37 x 5.75 inches)
DL Envelope (110 x 220 mm; 4.3 x 8.7 inches)
C5 Envelope (162 x 229 mm; 6.4 x 9 inches)
C6 Envelope (114 x 162 mm; 4.5 x 6.4 inches)
Japanese Envelope Chou #3 (120 x 235 mm; 4.7 x 9.3 inches)
Japanese Envelope Chou #4 (90 x 205 mm; 3.5 x 8.1 inches)

Apart from #10, are other envelopes you tried to print on listed here?

Try to print a non- #10 envelope with no content but text placed far enough from the edges.

Nick
