Printing a ten page booklet

Postby laurie » January 22nd, 2015, 10:56 am

I am creating a folded booklet. I have 10 half pages - so I expect that each booklet will consist of 5 actual sheets of paper. My printer (Epson NX420) only prints on one side. I have the document in A5. I have the printer at A4, have enabled the 'format as booklet', but I cannot get the booklet to print correctly. The printer insists that I have 6 pages, not 5. It is not 'automatically' arranging pages 1&10, 2&9, 3&8, 4&7 and 5&6 together. It is adding a blank page after page two. I have tried printing just the odd pages first - but it gives me three pages - not five. Thanks for your help.

I am new to Swift Pub. and figured this out myself! It wasn't until I physically folded pieces of paper together that I understood the problem of my ten page booklet. One paper folded = 4 pages, two papers folded = 8 pages, three papers folded = 12 pages. I need to either delete two of my ten pages to equal 8 or add two pages to my ten to equal 12.
