When I select a blank 3 panel brochure layout to begin the design, there are words (Front Cover, Outside and then the instruction on how to supposedly hide these things down in the left hand corner). The words are in the way and interrupt the design, and nothing I do will hide them.

Can someone please tell me how to hid these words so I can focus on the design?

Thanks.

Hi blawrence2,

You can hide the markings by following the instruction you mentioned. Here it is with some pictures.

1. In the main menu, select Arrange > Layers and select Layout. This way you activate the layer containing unnecessary marking.

2. In the same menu Arrange > Layers click on Visible to uncheck it. The Layout layers will become hidden.

To delete this layer, you can use the Remove Layer command.

Thank you. I clearly was doing this wrong. I simply was choosing Layers and unchecking Visible. I missed the step of selecting Layout first. Thank you! Problem solved.
