Saving as PDF

Ok, so I finished my first newsletter and I saved it as a PDF but the file is 32MB and can't be sent via email. I need it to be a lot smaller!! How do I do that without having to remove the background colors and images? Please let me know. Thanks. I'd like to get the lowest amount of MB as possible to be able to send the file quickly via email. I was able to select a different export setting to mail and that got the file down to 14 MB but it's still terribly heavy for email. Please help.

A way to create a compressed PDF is discussed here:

More effective but more labour consuming is to revise images in your document. Maybe some of them have too high resolution.

Did you use any color profiles other than Generic? If you don't know, probably the default Generic RGB profile was selected.
