OpenGL acceleration
For fastest display rendering of Core Image filters, you can turn on OpenGL acceleration in Image Tricks preferences dialog (it is off, by default). Some hardware platforms don't support hardware acceleration or don't have programmable GPU. In this case, turn off OpenGL acceleration for correct rendering (see Core Image-capable graphics cards on http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/coreimage/).

Export OpenGL-rendered images
Exported image may differ from the displayed one (depend on Core Image filter or graphics card). Try to switch to compatibility mode by turning OpenGL acceleration off.

Rendering Vortex Distortion filter
Some Core Image filters may be unavailable or corrupted (depends on the version of your Mac OS X or present graphics card). We noticed, that images with Vortex Distortion filter export as blank images on Mac OS X 10.4.6, but displayed correctly via OpenGL acceleration.
