I have downloaded the v 4.4.1 update. However, my older version still remains with recent business card work in place. In the new update, the Recent is grayed out. How do I import data from the old version?

To clarify the problem further regarding the upload, "OPEN RECENT", does link up to my old version once you move beyond the Assistant page. However, I wonder if I can delete the old version, since my business card information is contained there. There seems to be no way to "import" or transfer to the new update. I hope you have some ideas on this. Thanks.

Hi caresys2,

When you update any 4.x version to 4.4.1, you mustn't experience any problem. The update installer replaces an earlier version with the new one. The information about last opened documents must remain.

The list of documents, you edited recently, is stored in the preferences file of Business Card Composer. Maybe a copy of the program, that does not display the list, cannot access the file. Or the new version was installed improperly.

Make sure, the application file of BCC 4.4.1 is in the Applications folder.

I think, the best solution for you is reinstall BCC 4.4.1 from scratch.
