When I try to download the "clipart.dmg"- file it is ultra slow:5 up to 8 kBit/sec
that means: I have to wait 1 day and about 14 hours for the complete download!!!
I have a DSL internetconnection with up to 16000 kBit/sec
has enyone som help for me for a "normal" downlod time?
downloading "clipart.dmg" - extremely slow!

To everybody who is concerned about the download speed.
Be sure that the connection not only from you to your Internet provider is high-speed, but your provider's outer connection too.
You can check the speed by using the traceroute Terminal command:
1. Open Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app
2. Type the command, space and the server name like here:
traceroute dl.filekicker.com
The internet host name should be extracted from the download link. You should omit also "http://".
3. Press Return.
The Terminal screen will display how packets travel through gateways from your computer to the host. Against gateways, you'll see the delay time like below:
1 helios.ee.lbl.gov (128.3.112.1) 0 ms 0 ms 0 ms
2 lilac-dmc.Berkeley.EDU (128.32.216.1) 19 ms 19 ms 19 ms
3 lilac-dmc.Berkeley.EDU (128.32.216.1) 39 ms 19 ms 19 ms
.......
Please don't complain to us about your Internet provider or vice versa.
