I like the feature of text wrap when putting text on to a CD as it automatically adjusts as required. Other than change the colour/font and basic shadow enhancements, is there any way to add more effects to the text? I appreciate I can use the plug-in Art Text, but that is used as an image and the text wrap feature won't work. Is there any way around this or are there ways to be more creative with say text you insert from a playlist?

Hi johnburn22,

There are no other text effects except for those you mentioned. If you can describe what you'd like to see in Docs Cover, we'll consider these features for the future updates.

Hi Nick.

Forgive my ignorance, but what do you mean by Docs Cover?? Do you mean Disc Cover??

Cheers.

In that case, any chance in the future there could be a way of creating effects on text with Art Text, then using that text within Disc Cover. For example, if creating a CD label in which you place the track list on the disc, you could import it in to Art Text, add what desired effects you wish too, then use the result in Disc Cover. You can kinda do this now, but as it comes back as a jpeg, the text wrap around function won't work. Or perhaps when you place the text on the CD in Disc Cover, you can open up Art Text, add the effects that you wish to, which will then change the text on the CD in Disc Cover. Hope that makes sense?!!

Cheers.

The output of Art Text is only an image. Text isn't text any more.

If you have not too many lines of text in your design, you can paste each line in Art Text individually. Since the output will be separate images (former lines), you will be able to arrange them as if text wrapping did this.

Yeah, I guess that would work, it's just fiddly and time consuming. It would be great if it could be incorporated in to Disc Cover somehow??

We cannot add the functionality of Art Text to Disc Cover.
