Hi there,

Could you tell me what the difference between Disc Cover and Disc Cover RE is? Is Disc Cover RE only available with Toast 8?

Thanks!

Hi Joe,

Disc Cover RE has functionality limitations and can be purchased inside Toast package only.

Okay thanks - is there a list of the limitations somewhere? Reason I'm interested is was because I was interested in upgrading to Toast 8, and wanted to know if I'd need to buy Disc Cover too, or if the version it shipped with was good enough...

I'm using RE with Toast for first time and wondering about placing text on spine. is there no way to place it on to same element as tray liner, or is writing it on the separate spine element the only option. If so, is that feature available in standard edition?
Thanks

Hi Jim,

You can add text either on a tray insert that is present in your document, or on a new spine or tray insert.

Some paper layouts are unavailable in the RE version comparing it with the standard one. But tray inserts and spines are supported.

I'm wondering about rotating the text to place on spine of tray liner? I'm seeing how to place text box in that area, but wondering about rotating. Thanks

The Rotation tool is located in the Geometry tab (Cmd-2) of the Inspector.
