controlling radius of circular text

Postby dwatson » March 24th, 2015, 6:28 pm

I find that the radius of my circular text is not "parallel" to the edge of the DVD and is too tight. Is there a way to correct this and make the radius larger? All the radius controls seem to control margins.

Hi,

To make the radius larger, increase the size of the text box by dragging one of corner handles. Then center the text box horizontally and vertically using the Alignment tab of the Inspector.

To increase spaces between letters, increase the Between Characters spacing in the Text tab of the Inspector.

Thank you very much. Adjusting the corner and center points did the trick. I didn't understand the alignment tab in the inspector as when opened didn't see what could ab adjusted.
