Its been a few months since I last printed a disc, since the last good print I have upgraded to OSX Yosemite and upgraded the printer firmware.
All my software is up to date for Yosemite.
My printing issue only occurs using Disc Tray J, all other printing is normal.
The fault is - double image print.
The disc design looks like it has been printed twice, offset horizontally by a fraction.
Canon's own Easy Print has the same problem, so its not a Disc Cover issue.
Have tried everything, reset printing system, latest drivers, etc.
Has anyone else had this issue?
I can only suspect the printer itself now.
Maybe shouldn't have upgraded the firmware...

I think you should wait until Canon release Yosemite-compatible printer drivers

Actually, I thought they had. The latest drivers on th UK or US site do say OS X 10.10.
I also thought the firmware upgrade may have been needed for yosemite too, but maybe this has caused the problem.

Hi,
A printed image or text may have a slightly offset copy when the printing heads aren't aligned. This can be fixed using the printer utility.
Also check the printer settings. Try to change the printing quality and see if this makes any difference. And try to print black and white (black ink only) and see what happens.

Re: CD/DVD Print Issue - Canon IP7250
I went through all the obvious things, nothing fixed the fault.
I decided it had to be the printer, so I purchased another one.
This one had newer firmware than I could download and printed discs perfectly.
So, either my printer was worn out or it was the firmware I loaded.
