I cannot get Disc Cover to see any music files. It will drill to folders but the music files (typically iTunes files or AIFFs I'm working on) are grayed out. I got this to work once after buying the app but now I cannot. My friend, who also has DC, has the same problem.

Am I just being stupid?

Seriously—NOBODY can confirm that this feature is working or not?

Grayed out files is not a problem.

Disc Cover expects you select a FOLDER containing music files, not files themselves.
Files will be available later when the selected folder is shown in the import dialog.

That's right, Nick—I select the folder. Once the folder is selected the music files contained therein are displayed in the right side of the window but more than half the time, the files themselves are gray. I'm not talking about seeing the files in the file picker, but in Disc Cover's own window where you choose which of the music files you want.

Could you send a screenshot of the Disc Cover window (that shows grayed out files) to our support?
To make a screenshot, press Cmd+Shift+3 when the desired window is on the screen. "Picture 1" graphic file will appear on your Desktop.

Are normal and gray files of the same format?
Does iTunes play them back normally?

Are there files that one time are grayed out and another time not?

Nick
