Exporting and Printing

You can export your design as an image with a transparent background. To make it possible, the following conditions should be met:

Your design should have the transparent background. To check this out, select the Chessboard background in the program Preferences. The chessboard will be seen through all transparent parts of your design.
Export to a file format that supports transparency (alpha channel). These are: PDF, TIFF, PNG and GIF (activate Include Transparency in the Export dialog).
It doesn't really concern Art Text, but you should know this. Applications that will receive an image, which you exported or copied via the clipboard, should also support the alpha channel. If an image has white or black background in a third party program, try to export from Art Text using a different file format.
