3D Tools and Effects
This section describes tools and effects compatible with 3D type objects.
The 3D tools can be effectively used only with text and vector objects. Any raster image turned into a 3D object will look the same way, like a rectangular prism.
When a 3D object is selected, it has a 3D rotation tool on the canvas in addition to regular resize and rotation handles. To rotate the object, click on the rotation tool and drag aside.
You can convert a 2D object to the 3D type by right-clicking on it on the canvas and choosing the Convert to 3D command. In the same way, you can convert from the 3D to 2D type. Changing the object type deactivates all the 2D or 3D effects that you have applied to the object.
