Swift Publisher Version 3
We at BeLight Software are happy to announce the long-awaited release of the third version of our award winning desktop publishing application Swift Publisher. Swift Publisher 3 introduces new templates, calendars, a new streamlined interface, unlimited editing layers, new design and layout tools, and more.
 New Pre-Designed Templates
Swift Publisher 3 flaunts a completely redesigned Template Gallery with over 180 brand new, themed templates. These well thought out designs for fliers, calendars, brochures, menus, and more provide a great starting point for beginning designers and hobbyists.
Calendar Editor
 The ability to design calendars in Swift Publisher has finally arrived! Insert a calendar object and change everything about the appearance, from the way days are shown to the color and stroke. Design your calendar, send it to the print shop, and hang it up!
Unlimited Editing Layers
Swift Publisher now has a layer based workflow to simplify and neaten up the design process. Aside from the foreground and background, you can add as many layers as you wish and choose to make them invisible or non-printable.
Design and Layout Tools
The design experience has become even more intuitive with the newly added tools. Now take background elements and apply subtle gradients to them and draw free hand shapes using the spline drawing tool. Aside from that, grouping has been added to the program, keeping complex, multi-object graphics together.
Photo Import from Aperture
 Now, in addition to seamlessly importing pictures from iPhoto, you can also do the same with your Aperture library. The iPhoto import process has also been greatly improved as the program now supports iPhoto events.
Full Lion Support
That says it all. Full screen mode, versions, auto-save, and an interface fit to the new Lion standards. It's all there.
Upgrade Now
Customers who purchased Swift Publisher 2 between December 1st, 2011 and March 2nd, 2012 are offered a free upgrade to version 3.
To qualify for a free upgrade, Mac App Store customers are asked to send proof of purchase (Apple receipt) to sales@belightsoft.com.
NOTE! Swift Publisher 3 requires Mac OS 10.6 or higher, Intel only Mac.
