• Tips&Tricks;
• Swift Publisher in the press.
Swift Publisher 1.3 is out!
Finally, Swift Publisher has grown one version older. Though
still being in its nappy years it looks and behaves more mature than ever. In your
e-mails you asked for extra designs and images to be added to the program —
here you are. But there's much more to it:
- Spotlight support added.
- Inserting objects from other BeLight Software applications added.
- iPhoto folders are now supported.
- "Move to Foreground/Background" option is now available for text.
- Document workspace can now be saved.
- Problem with Ownership & Permissions is solved (see Tips&Tricks).

Tips&Tricks
To avoid problem with write-permission, custom templates are now
stored at user's Home directory.
To put all custom templates in a single place, we advise to transfer
them from the old folder —
"/Library/Application Support/BeLight Software/Swift Publisher/Custom Templates"
to the new one:
"~(User's Home)/Library/Application Support/BeLight Software/Swift Publisher/Custom
Templates".
This is where new custom templates will be saved.
Swift Publisher in the press
In May 2006 SP was rated as "Great" by MacAddict magazine. We
hope you'll enjoy what the review tells:
"Even if you've spent lots of time with InDesign or QuarkXpress, you'll be impressed
with Swift Publisher, a consumer-level word-processing and page-layout app".
