Quick Start Guide
Create print designs for your business and personal needs.
Printfolio is your start point in creation and printing: business cards,
flyers, newsletters, brochures, catalogs, mailing labels, CD/DVD cases and covers.
How Does it Work?
Printfolio behaves as a document wizard that opens one of
the specialized applications depending on the projectyou selected.
Business Card Composer is used for business
cards.
Disc Cover is used for designs connected with CD/DVD media.
Mail Factory is used for labels, envelopes and postcards.
Swift Publisher is used for flyer, brochure and other types of designs.
Design selection has two steps. First, you select the kind of
the project in Printfolio. Second, the corresponding application opens its designs collection
(Assistant) to show all possible designtemplates.
Apart from the main applications stands Image Tricks. Its main
goal is to enrich your designs with uniquegraphics. Image Tricks provides image filters and
generators. (It requires Mac OS 10.4 or higher).
Basic Steps
1. Select a project category in the left box. The corresponding type of projects
will be shown in the gallery box.
2. Select the project you want to design and click the Choose button (or double
click on the icon). Printfolio will bring up one of the programs showing the template collection
(Assistant).
3. Go through all steps of the Assistant. The selected design will get into the
editing window and you will be ableto modify it.
4. When your design is finished, you can print it or save as a graphic file
to order printing in a print shop.
Registration
It is recommended to register Printfolio when you open it at the first time.
For this, select the Printfolio -> License menu item. The "License"
window will open. Enter owner's name and thelicense code into the corresponding boxes. This will
register all the software from the Printfolio package.
Entering the code manually, be attentive. Do not use the 'O' character, type only
0 (zero) digit in the license code. There is also no small letter 'I', but only 1 (one) digit in
the license code.
Unregistered copies of the software adds the "trial version" line onto
your design at printing.
