Mail Factory version 2
Development of version 2 was highly concentrated on balancing
between keeping the program simple to use and making its postal features as
professional and advanced as they can be. The newer edition solves the difficulty
of handling large mailings, both the address management and printing become more
flexible and get unique features.
Embedded Data Storages
Great attention was paid to providing enough freedom to working
with addresses. Apart from using the data from virtually all databases (Apple
Address Book, MS Entourage, MS Excel, etc.), the program gets built-in data
storages for editing and storing the information:
- Mass mailings' database — store and edit your mailing lists,
switch between them.
- Recipients' database — store and edit recipient's details
directly in the program.
- Senders' database — easily switch between
private and corporate correspondence.
Advanced Printing
Printing features were enhanced substantially. Merge Printing
functionality now becomes available, which brings convenience to mass mailings.
Special control options (Address Auto Resize, Suppress Country Field, etc.) were
added in the print dialog.
Now the program provides you with a chance to edit labels or
envelopes directly in the print dialog.
Working with Addresses
Version 2 provides you with a choice of 15 address templates
("Company+Department", "Company+Attention",
"Name+Spouse", etc.), which help to build the address as you need.
Alternatively, you can create your own address template.
Now the program supports
the Canada Post barcode.
Art
Collection of smart vector shapes with controlled behavior was added,
giving you a possibility to change figure’s shape as you wish.
Apart from 100
pre-designed masks any image can be used as a mask, which helps to reach unusual effects.
