Label Printers:

What's new in Mail Factory v.2 since 1.4

Mail Factory version 2 provides users with a great number of new capabilities. The built-in data storages allow to store and edit the lists of recipients' and senders' addresses. The application provides you with advanced Merge Printing functionality, which is easily adjusted. 15 address templates (corporate, personal and extended ones) are introduced for easy address creation. The program now supports the Canada Post barcode.

New Features:

Postal Integration

• Canada Post barcode is now supported.

• 15 address templates become available (corporate, private, extended, etc.). Users can create their own templates through a special dialog or by using an option to form address fields.

• Virtually all fields of Apple Address Book are now supported.

• The program has its own sender’s address database, switching between private and corporate correspondence gets easier.

• In addition to standard databases (Apple Address Book, MS Entourage) the program has its own recipients address database. Data can be edited directly in the program.

• Address database for mass mailings is built into the program. Now users can have several print-lists, switch between them, edit those lists as well as edit data of each person on the list.

Printing

• Additional printing mode becomes available - Merge Printing for mass mailings.

• The ability to edit any label or envelope in the Print dialog was added.

• Variety of settings are available in Merge Printing mode: Address Auto Resize, Suppress Country Field, Hide Separating Comma, etc.

Pictures

• Vector smart shapes with controlled behavior were added.

• A custom image can be used as a mask as well as pre-designed masks.

• Number of masks has increased to 100.

• Image tiling operation was extended, so that tile size can be altered.

Flexibility

• Separate address field can be added from a special panel.

• Option to specify path to programs that store data (FileMaker Pro, MS Excel, etc.)

• Counter feature allows you to numerate labels, assign each label a unique number.

• Text File Data support allows to read the data for a separate field from a text file.

Many other improvements and additions. Various bugs fixed.
