How To: Image Crop
I'd like to tell you more about such interesting feature as Image Crop.
You know, one girl from our team really enjoyed using it for creating a heap of nice
looking wedding invitations and envelopes with pictures from iPhoto:)
The Image Crop operation allows you to remove the parts of the image
that you don't like. To crop an image, select it in the document window and choose the
Edit->Crop Image menu command, or click the Crop button in the Inspector. The easiest
way is double click on image:)
The Crop Image dialog will come up. Use the mouse to select the part
of the picture that you need and click the Crop button. The image in the document will
be trimmed to the size of the selected area. You can easily modify the crop area. To
do this, double click on the image in the document. The Crop Image dialog will come up
again. In the dialog, grab the crop area with the mouse to move it over the image, or
drag the sides to resize it. Click Crop to apply the changes.
If you want to select a small part of picture, use a zoom runner.
If you replaced a pretty nice and uncomfortable Apple Pro mouse with a more prosaic
one with the wheel, change zoom using this wheel.
If you still use Apple Pro mouse, feel free to change it:)
To remove the Crop area completely, simply click somewhere in the Crop
Image dialog and selection will be removed. Click Crop - and your image will be reverted
to its original size.
