The main application window is comprised of two parts - the design canvas
and the toolbar. The design canvas is where you will design and edit your envelopes
and mailing labels, add or modify addresses.
It displays the outlines of a label or an envelope - depending on the document
type.
The toolbar has a tool switch with two conditions: Select tool (arrow) to work with objects (select, drag etc.) and Text Edit tool (A) to place a new text line or to edit existing one. Further to the right Zoom control is located.
Address Panel button is a tool for adding address panels.
Apart from the main window, there are several floating windows, that you can toggle on/off:
Design - shows/hides the Design floating window.
Inspector - shows/hides the Inspector floating window.
Contacts - shows/hides Contacts window.
Layouts - opens Layouts dialog.
Merge Printing - opens the printing dialog in Merge Printing mode.
Print - opens the printing dialog in Print for One Person mode.
The Design window is the main source of Address panel templates, Text fields, Images and Smart shapes.
The Inspector window allows you to modify properties of the selected address panel, image, text field and other objects. Its appearance changes according to the selected object.
The Contacts window contains three lists of contacts: From, To and Print List. From contacts are used to fill "From" address panels, To contacts are used to fill "To" address panels, and Print List - lists of persons for merge printing labels and envelopes. When you select a name in a list, the address of this person is automatically inserted into From or To address panel depending on which list was used.
The Layouts dialog (not floating) allows to choose one of the predefined paper templates or create an envelope, label or postcard with a custom size. Also, you can appoint one from recently used paper types.
The Colors panel is the standard system window, where you can choose the text or image color.
The Fonts panel is the standard system font window. Use it to change font attributes of a selected text.
