Live Interior 3D Version Changes
What's new in Live Interior v.2.3.1 since 2.3
Version 2.3.1 features the following enhancements:

Version 2.3 features the following enhancement:
General:
- Introduced support for creating roofs. Added Roof Assistant to quickly add an auto-roof to your house (Inspector > Building Properties Tab);
- Added 200+ new roofing materials;
- Added foundation thickness and elevation parameters for building (Inspector > Building Properties Tab);
- Reworked the Inspector interface — added a separate control panel for manual roof adjustments (Inspector > Object Properties);
- Added the new “Fly Around” tool that allows you to view the entire scene or selected object from any angle with ease (3D Toolbar or Alt+Space);
- Now you can quickly substitute a selected object in your project with the selected one in the library via the “Substitute with selection in Library” item in the context menu;

Improvements and Bug Fixes:
- Now current display color profile is attached to exported screenshots to make them device independent and printed correctly;
- Rearranging objects in custom object categories updated. Placement position now shown while dragging and dropping objects;
- Now Material Picker shows the substitute color in the Inspector when pointing in 3D;
- Fixed the bug that caused door openings not to disappear after making all doors or windows invisible;
- Now materials with transparency are supported for building elements (walls, floors, ceilings);
- Improved the lighting of objects in niches;
- Multiple other improvements and bug fixes.

Version 2.2 features the following enhancements:
General:
- Introduced support for multi-level floors and ceilings. Added an elevation parameter for floors and ceilings;
- Added the ability to select and move custom floors and ceilings in the 3D view;
- Added a thickness parameter for wall panels, making it possible to extrude or press them into walls to form various design elements and niches;
- Reworked the Inspector interface - doors, windows, wall panels, as well as floors and ceilings have separate control palettes;
- Added over 30 wall panels and 20+ openings to the Object Library, introducing rounded ones;
- Updated the shadow map rendering mode, featuring soft shadows at high speed rendering. (Preferences Dialog > 3D Settings Tab > Shadow Maps check);
- Added the option to disable reflections while moving in 3D (Preferences Dialog > 3D Settings Tab). Activating this option will speed up walkthroughs and arranging objects in 3D;
- Added the option to exclude library objects when saving a document, this helps to reduce the document size (Preferences Dialog > Miscellaneous Tab).
Import:
- Reworked the import of Google SketchUp™ objects;
- Fixed the import of images and complex textures in Google SketchUp™ and 3DS objects. If any problem is noticed check “Make all surfaces double-sided to avoid invisible surfaces” option (Preferences dialog > Google 3D Warehouse™ Tab);
- Supported texture transparency for Google SketchUp™ objects;
- Enabled the import of 3D objects via Copy/Paste from Finder.
Export:
- Added export to VRML 2.0 and X3D formats, this gives you the unique possibility to post your 3D interiors on the Web;
- Added the ability to select video codecs and quality settings for exported movies;
- Fixed shadow flickering in exported movies.
Other Improvements and Bug Fixes:
- Reworked wall connection became more stable;
- Added the ability to copy & paste images into the 2D view from Finder;
- Total length of selected walls is now shown (2D view info-bar);
- Fixed the problem with picture quality being reduced at import in 2D;
- Triangles quantity for a selected object is now shown (2D view info-bar);
- Fixed issues with imported objects disappearing in complicated projects;
- Enlarged the document preview for better document identification (the preview size is 256x256);
- Other multiple improvements and bug fixes.

Version 2.1.1 features the following enhancements:
- Improved performance when handling multi-story projects;

Version 2.1 features the following enhancements:
General:
- The alternative shadow rendering mode provides faster shadow performance and smoothes them (Preferences Dialog > 3D Settings Tab > Shadow Maps check);
- The autosave functionality will help to restore documents after accidental computer crash (Preferences Dialog > Miscellaneous Tab);
- Spanish localization added;
- The option to create and customize materials with reflections has become available (via Advanced Material Editor for Pro Edition only).
Import/Export:
- Support for import and export of Google SketchUp™ 7 files added;

- The process of importing objects can now be canceled;

Improvements and Bug Fixes:
- Now copied objects in the 2D view are pasted into mouse cursor position. If the cursor is out of the 2D view, it is pasted into the center of the 2D workspace;
- The creation of custom floors and ceilings has been revised. Now you can create custom floors and ceilings inside automatically created ones without the need to delete them;
- Zoom in/Zoom out shortcuts have been added for the 2D view using the mouse Wheel (Alt+Wheel). Edit Wall Panels, Openings and Niches option added in the context menu for doors, windows, openings and niches (in Pro Edition only);
