Live Interior 3D Version Changes

What's new in Live Interior v.2.1.1 since 2.1

Version 2.1.1 features the following enhancements:

• Improved performance when handling multi-story projects;
• The option to disable reflection effects while moving in 3D added (Preferences Dialog > 3D Settings Tab);
• Importing of textures for Google SketchUp™ files revised;
• Issues with objects disappearing in complicated projects fixed;
• Story preview creation in the Inspector fixed;

What's new in Live Interior v.2.1 since 2.0.1

Version 2.1 features the following enhancements:

General:

• The alternative shadow rendering mode provides faster shadow performance and smoothes them (Preferences Dialog > 3D Settings Tab > Shadow Maps check);
• The autosave functionality will help to restore documents after accidental computer crash (Preferences Dialog > Miscellaneous Tab);
• Spanish localization added;
• The option to create and customize materials with reflections has become available (via Advanced Material Editor for Pro Edition only).

Import/Export:

• Support for import and export of Google SketchUp™ 7 files added;
• Import of Google SketchUp™ objects with textures and flat images improved;
• The process of importing objects can now be canceled;
• The option to choose the Google SketchUp™ version becomes available prior to exporting the project.

Improvements and Bug Fixes:

• Now copied objects in the 2D view are pasted into mouse cursor position. If the cursor is out of the 2D view, it is pasted into the center of the 2D workspace;
• The creation of custom floors and ceilings has been revised. Now you can create custom floors and ceilings inside automatically created ones without the need to delete them;
• Zoom in/Zoom out shortcuts have been added for the 2D view using the mouse Wheel (Alt+Wheel). Edit Wall Panels, Openings and Niches option added in the context menu for doors, windows, openings and niches (in Pro Edition only);

• A Loop Movie checkbox has been added in the Cameras Tab of the Inspector. It appears when a movie track is selected;
• A reflections quality control has been added (Preferences dialog > 3D Settings Tab);

Version 2.0.1 features the following enhancements:

• French localization added;
• German Help added;
• Shortcut for Fit Plan in 2D View added (Cmd+0);
• Context Menu in the Inspector Materials Tab now can be called via the right click on the material preview;
• Problems with exporting groups of objects to Google SketchUp™ format fixed;
• Issues with decimal separator for Mac OS X 10.4 resolved;
• Crash while working with imported objects with zero sizes fixed;

Version 2.0 features the following enhancements:

• Multi-story and stairs support added. Create multi-story projects, setting custom wall and slab height for every story;
• Wall Designer added, that allows to create custom niches, openings and wall panels;
• Custom objects library. Now you can create and manage your own object categories; add and rearrange objects in custom categories to your liking;
• Support for ceiling openings;
• Real-time support for materials with reflection;
• Environment dialog to set exact Daytime and Geographic location;
• Improved handling hard documents due to updated rendering optimization;
• Improved program stability and various technical improvements and bug fixes.

Interface:

• Redesigned program interface;
• Improved 3D walk control;

Object Editing:

• Edit any 3D object directly in the program using Google SketchUp™ (Free or Pro version of SketchUp™ needs to be installed).

Export:

• Export to Google SketchUp™ added. Export the whole interior project (an apartment or multy-story building) or selected objects into Google SketchUp format.

Content:

• 200+ new objects added, including stairs, doors, windows, sinks, technics, kitchen ware and other;
• 300+ new materials added including reflected ones (fabric, environment, tiles, parquet, laminate, ect);
• Assistant designs updated.
