What is Live Interior 3D? What does it do?
Live Interior 3D is a program for designing the interior of a house or an apartment.
Whether you are remodeling, improving or building a new home, the program will assist
to visualize your ideas and see your future interior. Using the program, you can find
optimal design and locations for your furniture. Before ordering various pieces of furniture,
you will be able to and see how they fit in the interior.
For what tasks can I use Live Interior 3D?
• Design Home & Office interiors.
• Change room or house layout.
• Add new items or move your furniture around.
• See how a new window or door fits in your interior.
• Resize your rooms by adding or removing walls.
• Prepare interior presentation for your client.
• Visualize the future home you will live in.
Who should use Live Interior 3D?
Live Interior 3D does not require any professional skills. Every user who wants to visualize
their interior ideas can use the program. The program will also be useful for apartment and
furniture designers who need an easy tool for working with 3D models.
What Comes with Live Interior 3D
Live Interior 3D comes in the reduced and full content editions (the application is the same). The reduced content edition is available via download only. The full content edition is available via download and in a box.
Is Live Interior 3D supplied with 3D objects?
The program is supplied with models of furniture and accessories. The models may be copies
of the actual items produced by leading manufacturers as well as may have no actual prototypes.
Can Live Interior 3D import 3D objects?
Live Interior 3D lets you import 3D objects in the following file formats:
• 3DS format (created in the Autodesk® 3ds Max® software);
• Google SketchUP™ format;
• Ogre XML format.
Is Live Interior 3D supplied with materials?
Live Interior 3D has built-in library of materials. You can extend the library by adding
custom materials.
Registering Live Interior 3D
The program does not accept the license code you gave me. How can I register
Live Interior 3D?
Please carefully copy and paste your license code into the License dialog. Or, if you have CD
edition, enter it manually — be attentive: do not confuse the 'O' character with 0 (zero)
digit, and the small 'I' letter with 1 (one) digit in the license code.
Starting your Work
On what Macs does Live Interior 3D work?
It will run on Mac OS X v.10.3.9 or higher. Macintosh computers with PPC and Intel
processors are supported.
Does Live Interior 3D have any templates?
Live Interior 3D has a number of ready-made interiors. You can use them to learn the program.
Troubleshooting
The application quits. What should I do?
Please send detailed description to our Technical Support of how it quits and what you did before
this (to make it possible for us to repeat the problem. Besides that, send us log-file, which
contains details on how the application quits. Find it following the path:
~(Your Home)/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Live Interior 3D.crash.log
How can I uninstall Live Interior 3D?
1) Delete Live Interior 3D from
the Applications folder.
2) Delete the com.belightsoft.LiveInterior3D.plist
file from the ~(Your Home)/Library/Preferences folder.
3) If you don’t need your
own materials and documents, that may be stored in the program’s folder, you can remove them:
delete Live Interior 3D folder from the ~(Your Home)/Library/Application Support/BeLight
Software folder.
