Main Elements of the Program

Main Program Elements

1. Library panel. Here you can find objects supplied with Live Interior 3D. The objects are grouped into two main categories (tabs) Building Elements and Furnishing (see the icons at the top of the panel). Each of these categories has subsections.
The objects already inserted into the project are managed by the Project Tree (the tab icon is in the top right corner of the Library panel).

2. 2D view. You can use it to draw a floor plan, insert doors and windows, add and move objects.

3. 2D tools for drawing the floor plan and adding measurements and cameras.

4. 3D view. 3D view is used for "walking" in your 3D room and making pictures.
It is also used for moving doors, windows and other objects and changing their colors and materials.

5. 3D Walk control is used for "walking" in the 3D view.

To "walk" in 3D, click the "arrow" icon in the walk mode selector. Then click the arrows of the walk control to move.

   

1 - Turn to the left
2 - Move forward turning to the left
3 - Move forward
4 - Move forward turning to the right
5 - Turn to the right
6 - Move leftward
7 - Move backward
8 - Move rightward

"Walking" is also possible by using the "arrow" keys.

6. Inspector. This floating window has controls to change most of object parameters. The Inspector window includes the Materials Gallery (see the icon tabs at the top).

The splitter bars between the Library, 2D view, and 3D view panes are adjustable. You can drag them with the mouse to distribute space between the views and the Library panel.
If you want to open both views when only one of them is visible, drag the corresponding splitter bar to the middle of the main window.
