Image Tricks
from BeLight Software is a free image editing application that allows users to
apply effects and filters to images using Mac OS X Tiger Core Image filters.
Like BeLight's other applications, Image Tricks has a simple
interface and is easy to use. It has around 40 core image effects and filters
and 30 unique masks. Users can import over 20 different types of images and
export to TIFF, JPEG, PNG and GIFs. Using Image Tricks, users can adjust saturation,
brightness, contrast, and hue, blur, distort, stylise, resize and rotate.
mage Tricks is integrated with Apple's iPhoto and supports
LinkBack
technology, enabling users to open and edit images modified in Image Tricks in other
LinkBack-enabled applications. Additionally, Image Tricks is a universal binary so
it will run natively on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macintosh computers.
Image Tricks makes it easy to quickly create fun, unique,
