What for can I use Image Tricks?
Image Tricks can be used to:
• edit images by applying filters to them;
• change image size/proportions and make image thumbnails;
• generate images using mathematical algorithms.
Can I draw in Image Tricks?
No.
On what Macs does Image Tricks work?
It will run on Mac OS X v.10.4 (Tiger) and later.
Image Tricks can work
with wide range of graphics cards. It is recommended to use cards, that
support the Core Image technology, like:
• ATI Mobility Radeon 9700
• ATI Radeon 9550, 9650, 9600, 9600 XT, 9800 XT, X800 XT
• nVidia GeForce FX Go 5200
• nVidia GeForce FX 5200 Ultra
• nVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL, 6800 GT DDL
Supported file formats
What files can I open?
You can open PDF, EPS, TIFF, PNG, GIF, JPEG and other graphic files.
Also, you can use Drag&Drop operation.
To what file format can I save?
You can save to TIFF, PNG, GIF and JPEG file formats.
Program registration
Why register? Is Image Tricks free?
Yes, it is free. The program comes in two versions: free and "Pro".
Image Tricks Pro has additional functionalities, that are marked with the "PRO"
label. To get the "Pro" functionalities working, you should purchase
the Pro version of Image Tricks and register the application.
All BeLight Software programs use the free version for image editing.
The license code you gave me isn't
being accepted by my program. How can I register it?
Please carefully Copy&Paste your license code into the License dialog. If
you enter it manually, be attentive: don't use 'O' character, type only 0 (zero)
digit in the license code.
Troubleshooting
The application quits. What should I do?
Please send detailed description to our Technical Support
how it quits and what you did before this (to make it possible for us to repeat
the problem). Besides that, send us log-file, which contains details on how the
application quits, you can find it:
~(Your Home)/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Image Tricks.crash.log
How can I install and uninstall
Image Tricks?
To install, start the program installer.
To uninstall:
— remove Image Tricks from the Applications folder;
— remove the PlugIns folder from ~(Your Macintosh HD)/Library/Application Support/BeLight Software/.
