Introduction
Image Tricks is a program for image editing by applying different effects to them. Most tools are based on Core Image filters and Quartz Compositions.
Another purpose of the application is generating images. It uses various math engines to create unique pictures.
Image Tricks can work with wide range of graphics cards. But it is recommended that you use cards, which support the Core Image technology, such as:
Using these cards reduces the CPU load.
To install Image Tricks, double-click on the Image Tricks installer icon and follow the installation instructions.
To uninstall Image Tricks, move to Trash:
~/Applications/Image Tricks.app
~/Library/Preferences/com.belightsoft.ImageTricks.plist
“~” means the user's Home folder.
To access the Library folder, in the Finder choose Go > Go to Folder (Cmd-Shift-G). Then type "~/Library/" into the edit box, and click the Go button.
In the standard version of Image Tricks some effects have the "Pro" label next to their names. The functionality of such effects is limited. You can see how an effect works but cannot save or copy the result. Custom Quartz Compositions are available in the Pro version. To get the full functionality available, you should purchase a license key and register the program.
To register Image Tricks Pro, enter your license code into the Registration dialog. To do this, choose the Image Tricks > Pro Registration... in the menu.
Your license code can be found in the purchase confirmation e-mail. It’s recommended that you keep the e-mail containing your license code in a safe place in case you need to register the application after re-installation or after update.
