Menus and Shortcuts

The "Get Backup" menu

About
Displays the dialog with information about the program.

Preferences (Cmd-",")
Brings up the program preferences dialog.

Quit (Cmd-Q)
Exits the application.

The 'File' menu

New Backup Project... (Cmd-N)
Creates a new backup.

Open Backup Project... (Cmd-O)
Opens an existing backup.

Remove Backup Project (Cmd-W)
Closes the selected backup and removes it from the list.

Save Backup Project (Cmd-S)
Saves the properties of the selected backup to a Backup Info File (*.bif or *.bifx).

Revert
Reverts the selected backup to its last saved state.

The "Edit" menu

Cut (Cmd-X)
Removes the selected text and places the selection onto the Clipboard.

Copy (Cmd-C)
Copies the selected text onto the Clipboard.

Paste (Cmd-V)
Pastes the content of the Clipboard into the text edit field.

Delete (Del)
Removes the selected text.

Select All (Cmd-A)
Selects all text in the text edit field.

The 'View' menu

Toggle Log (Cmd-L)
Opens and closes the log drawer.

Hide/Show Toolbar (Cmd-Opt-T)
Hides or shows the toolbar.

Customize Toolbar...
Presents the toolbar sheet that allows you to customize the toolbar.

The "Backup" menu

Backup Now (Cmd-B)
Starts the process of creating a backup for the selected backup progect.

Stop
Stops any active processes.

Restore to Original Location (Cmd-R)
Begins restoration of selected backups to the original location.

Restore to Folder... (Cmd-Shift-R)
Begins restoration of selected backups to the specific folder.

Restore Selected Files to Original Location
Begins restoration of selected files to the original location.

Restore Selected Files to Folder...
Begins restoration of selected files to the specific folder.

Add Files...
Brings up the file dialog adding files to the current backup.

Remove Files
Removes selected files from the current backup.

The "Window" menu

Zoom
Zooms the currently active window to its previous state.

Minimize Window (Cmd-M)
Minimizes the currently active window.

The "Help" menu

Get Backup Help (Cmd-?)
Opens the Help documentation supplied with the application.

Goes to the Get Backup web page.
