Updating the Program
From time to time, the software developer releases new versions of the product. To change your copy to a new version, you just need to install an update. Before launching the update installer, make sure that the application and the supporting files are at the default location. Usually they are if you have followed the installation procedure and didn't change paths or transfer files manually. For default file locations,
see in the Removing the Program section.

Removing the Program
To uninstall Get Backup:
- Launch the Get Backup application. Choose Get Backup > Preferences in the menu. Deselect the Use schedule agent checkbox, and click OK. Quit the program.
- Delete the Get Backup application from the Applications folder (or from other location if you have moved the program).
- Delete the com.belightsoft.GetBackup.plist file from the ~/Library/Preferences/ folder.
- Open this folder: "~/Library/Application Support/BeLight Software/Get Backup 2". Inside it you can find the Backups and Logs folders. If you don't plan to continue working with your backup projects and don't want to restore the corresponding backups. Delete the "Get Backup 2". To be able to work with your projects later, delete only the Logs folder.
