Disc Cover Version 2
Hooray, Disc Cover 2 is out! Lets take few minutes to see what the update brings.
First
thing that everyone will notice is the redesigned interface. Implementation of
Cover Flow technology provides users with innovative and convenient way to preview ready-made designs
from Assistant. Clicking on small arrows on the preview will swap design elements included with
the design. Many other interface changes to the main working area of the program and
Inspector make various features easier to access.
Special attention was paid to the Graphic content of the program. Apart from 35 new designs,
most of the existing designs were refreshed. Also, Disc Cover 2 obtained Gallery
section on source panel, which offers you collection of 30 photo collages and 120 new background
designs. The Gallery also offers you to store frequently used images for convenient access to them later on.
Import capabilities of the program become more robust with inclusion of Apple Aperture
integration. Now you can easily access photos located in Aperture library directly from Disc Cover 2.
Among other features that improved import, it is worth to mention support for events library of
iPhoto and increased list of formats for tracks imported from iTunes.
Enhanced work with objects is achieved by introducing Grouping functionality that will
let you group several objects and work with them as a single object. Fill options have widened, now
you can apply Linear and Radial gradient fill to different objects. Radial fill will help you to
achieve 3D surface effect for any object.
Embedded integration with Art Text enables you to create high quality textual graphics,
headings, logos and icons.
Note that upgrade to Disc Cover version 2 is FREE for all users who purchased version 1.x.
