Business Card Composer 3.2 Is Out!
Dear friends, many of you were asking us about double-sided
cards support. Here we go!
Sure, this upgrade is available for free for current BCC users. And, at
BeLight Software, we'd like to be on the "top of fashion", so,
here is a Universal Binary version of BCC!
What's New in Business Card Composer v.3.2:
- Full support for double-sided cards is introduced (double-sided
card saving in the same document, switching between sides on a fly,
printing).
- Duplex printers are supported.
- The collection of 32 vector smart shapes with controllable
behaviour was added.
- The new Universal Binary version allows to run natively on both
PowerPC and Intel-based Macintosh computers.
- Option to select several objects with the opportunity to resize
and rotate them as a single item was added.
- Business card paper layouts extended.
- Paper Layout preview was added into paper selection dialogue
(Assistant, Card Properties).
- An option to set-up addresses in Preferences is available (address
fields order differs for some countries).
- A ruler and measurement units were added.

How To Make Double-sided Cards
Sure, you'd like to give a whirl for these two-sided cards! But what
if you don't have two-sided cards or duplex printer? In this case, try perforated-edge
paper instead of two-sided business card paper. This paper has empty back side, which
is suitable for printing (but check this, especially for laser printers). Be aware that
print quality of the back side can be lower than of the facial one.
If you like to print two-sided cards on several pages, pay attention
to the printing method. If "Duplex printing order" is disabled in the
Printer Dialogue, you should put in the printer exact paper amount that is required for
the cards quantity. The program will tell you how many is needed. If Duplex printing
order is enabled, you should put only one sheet of paper. After it is printed, please,
insert this paper with the other side to print back side of business cards. Then next
sheet, and so on.
