BUSINESS CARD COMPOSER V.2.3 RELEASED
We are glad to inform you that version 2.3 of Composer is out!
This update contains integration with iPhoto, improved Address Book support with the
control of which address to use for the card (e.g. "home" or "work"),
new professional designs and images and a lot of other cool features.
Here is the list of main changes:
• Added integration with iPhoto.
• Improved Address Book support. When selecting a person or a list of persons,
it's possible to choose which address to use (e.g. "home" or "work").
• Completely redesigned the Printer Calibration Process. Added the Scale setting that
helps to solve the problem with cards getting slightly offset by the end of the printed page.
• Added nearly 25 new designs.
• More images added to the clipart collection.
• Slightly redesigned the interface. Due to the new toolbar the app's appearance is improved.
• Text fields can now be rotated.

TIPS & TRICKS
- In order to meet numerous requests from our users, we added support for different
locations (home, office, etc.) from Apple Address Book. Now you can specify which address
to use - home, office or other (if applicable). If the selected address location is missing,
the program will use the primary Address Book address.
Another improvement is that the fields that contain no data and are marked "none"
are now grayed out on the card. They no longer appear on the print-out. This helps to avoid
gaps when printing cards for several people whose contact information is incomplete.
- Wow, text fields can be rotated now!
This means that you can now rotate text, position it vertically or at any other angle.
You can either use the Rotate slide bar, or enter the angle manually.
- Please pay attention that Calibration Process has been completely changed. Follow the
instructions from Help documentation. The Scale option was added, to fix the problem with
gradual business card shift during printing.

- "Business Card Composer not only can it be used for creating business cards,
you can quickly create brochures! I used PhotoShop to crop and downsize the photos, and
then I created the entire document using your program. I selected card properties, and
made a custom size 8.5" x 11". When I was finished, the brochure was 28MB!
So I saved it as a PDF (using Adobe 6.0 Professional), and reduced the size of the file
to 690 KB, as well as, added a link to my website! This is the coolest thing I have come
across in my 18 years of using Macs. :)"
So, by using custom layouts, you can create brochures, greeting cards,
invitation letters etc.
