Business Card Composer News - June 23th, 2003
Hello friends,
We're constantly working and improving our software (your
feedback helps us to fulfill this at the highest possible level). We're
happy to tell you that a new free update of Business Card Composer is
available.
Business Card Composer is stepping up :-) It undergoes
some polishing, gets a couple of new features and grows into v1.0.3.
This edition is meant to suit your expectations and needs even better.
1.0.3 update improvements:
* Problems with print on some Canon BubbleJet printers (S200, S800,
S900, etc.) fixed.
* Sudden quits of the application observed when object's color and transparency
are changed - corrected.
* Following the requests of our users, we have extended the supported
paper base by adding the old Avery templates.
Quite a number of minor bugs are corrected. Look for detailed
list of changes at:

INSTALLATION NOTICE:
On the Select Destinations Stage manually choose destination disk and
folder, where the previous version of Business Card Composer is stored
(Application Folder usually).
Business Card Composer Tips&Tricks: Let's talk
about shadows.
* How to add blur effect to the text
Toggle on Shadow tick in the Properties window of the text object and
set 0%(zero) Opacity in the Color window.
* How to change location of the object's shadow
Duplicate the text (Cmd+D) and use the second text as the shadow (it's
better if you make its color a little darker). This text can be also
modified in another way, explained in the advice above. Keep in mind
that you can use Cmd to move your "shadow" text, so that automated Snap
doesn't hamper in your creation process :-)
* How to assign shadow to the image
Duplicate the image (Cmd+D), select the second picture you've got and
make it darker (by changing opacity in the Color window).
Hope your well-made cards will be of great help to you!
