The Main Window

The main application window is used for editing business cards.

Four buttons on the toolbar activate:

• The Selection tool.
• The Text tool for adding and editing text.
• The Rectangle tool for drawing vector rectangles.
• The Line tool for drawing vector lines.

The main window is divided into 2 parts. The right part is used for editing business cards; in the left one you can open images from the internal, iPhoto, Smart Shape (vector image) collections or access images from a folder on your disk (Custom folder). To toggle between these image sources, use one of the buttons at the bottom left corner or commands of the View menu.

Clipart collection displays images, sorted by categories. To change the category, make the selection in the pop-up list (located above the collection).
The Search tool at the bottom allows searching images by keywords within the collection and in the Internet. To search images on the Web, use the File > Search Images in Internet menu.

The iPhoto button displays the pictures stored in your iPhoto library (View > iPhoto Library menu).

The Smart Shapes button displays vector images from the internal collection (View > Smart Shapes menu). Some Smart Shapes have additional adjustable parameters.

The Custom folder button displays the graphic content of the selected folder and its subfolders (the alternative way: View > Custom Folder menu).

Your card design may consist of two layers: background and foreground. Use Background and Foreground tags at the bottom to open the layer you need. The alternative way is to use the View menu.

The program can create double-sided business cards. To toggle sides use the button on the left of the layer toggle or the View menu.
