Open Assistant on start-up opens the Assistant to begin creation of a new document from a ready-made template of business card.
Snap option enables/disables alignment of objects when you resize them or move with the mouse. If the option is enabled, a smart guide is shown to indicate that objects are aligned while you move one of them.
Show foreground objects while editing background. Enable this option if you need to see the foreground layer to place or adjust parameters of background objects.
The Measurement Units changes the measurement units used in the program.
The options below are applied to text fields.
Setting Auto-fill text fields allows the program to automatically paste personal data into text fields. The data will be taken from the current selection of the Change Person window.
Use Display Order option to set the default order of the first and last names. Different countries use different name notation.
Address Order lets choose address writing order, common in your country.
The Set address field in a line option converts multi-line addresses, imported from the Address Book, to a single line.
Print card as raster image lets force printing the card as a complete raster document. Enable this option if you have a problem with printing.
Setting the Ignore printer page settings option allows to avoid cutting the bottom of cards. This problem may arise when you print on Letter sized paper.
